Flora

The most ornamental of Jacob May furniture collections combines soft curves and round edges with angular details. It presents a modern, bohemian aesthetic with a nod to antique, shaker-style, turned-post furniture. The designer prefers this piece in a bleached (white) or ebonized ash finish in order to present the unique, sculptural lines without distraction. Each one of my pieces is crafted by hand in the Jacob May Studio located in Oakland, California. I oversee a small crew of woodworkers who assist me in crafting heirloom-quality pieces that are guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects.
