Our LORE bed was made to be a family heirloom that gets passed down again and again (and maybe even passed around the country, since it breaks down and re-assembles so easily). Its headboard design allows for the natural expanding and contracting that occurs with solid wood—so the brass dowel-reinforced joinery coexists peacefully with changes in temperature and humidity. Care Instructions
To achieve the Natural Oak, Natural Walnut, Oxidized Oak and Ebonized Ash finishes we use various water dyes under an ecologically-friendly, VOC-free oil called Rubio Monocoat. More information about the product can be found here. Care instructions along with maintenance products can be found here.
The Bleached Ash Finish is achieved by initially bleaching the piece then applying a General Finishes Brand, water-based clear polyurethane topcoat. More information about the product along with care instructions can be found here.
